Shelley is available to book as a guest speaker at events e.g. festivals, or to groups, Livery yards, Rescue centres etc. She has 30yrs experience as a Drama Specialist to ensure she pitches well to each audience & always delivers a highly engaging, informative & entertaining speech.

The 'Do Little Be More' talk is interactive & uses films & anecdotes of a whole variety of animals drawn from Shelley's personal case studies.

Talks are tailored to your specific event & audience. They are informal, fun & accessible for all ages from 10yrs as everyone loves to hear great stories about animals, the way they behave and how they communicate. They are also highly informative about this non dominant & healing approach to working with all species.

The Talk can last anything between 45mins & 1hr 30mins long depending on request.

Shelley presents an introduction to the Trust Technique & shows how mindfulness is used to support animals to overcome highly anxious & reactive behaviours, release past traumas & reset their systems for self healing.

Video footage includes Shelley successfully using this magical technique with horses, dogs & even a wild gull. There will also be footage of James French, the founder of the Trust Technique working with a whole variety of animals, including lions.

Shelley will then explain the many benefits of using this approach & also provide a clear insight into the bigger picture of the animal human connection. She then takes her audience on a short guided exercise in mindfulness.

There will NOT be a demonstration with a live animal at these talks but people are invited to send videos of issues with their animals ahead of the talk, to enable Shelley to screen some and discuss them with the audience.

There will be a Q and A session about your own animals & ways in which they would benefit from using this approach.

After the presentation,  Shelley will be happy to spend additional time talking one to one with audience members about their animals in a more personal way.

The 'Do Little Be More' talk is free to book, so Rescue Centres are able to request audience donations for this event to help raise funds for their cause or another animal charity.
